Reorder process steps
A map can have up to 10 process steps. When a map has 10 steps, the Add step option no longer appears. To add another step, remove one you no longer need.
To reorder a map's process steps

Open the map customization page (see Customize your map).

Navigate to Process.

Use the hamburger icon to reorder the steps.
- Click Save Changes.
Do ideas carry over to the next step?
Yes. Ideas belong to the map, not to a step, so ideas added in one step appear in the steps that follow. For example, ideas from a BRAINSTORM step are grouped in a GROUP step and voted on in a VOTE step. Groups also carry over.
To show fewer ideas in a later step:
- Use the Show filter in the step's facilitation controls to show, for example, only pinned ideas or the top voted ideas. See Control your map activity.
- Open an idea, click its more options icon and choose Exclude idea from step. This removes the idea from that step only and does not affect earlier steps.
